I usually avoid any manipulation, even cropping... I usually look at the slide and get the scanned version to match in terms of colour... most of the time I edit the saturation and sharpness...
Also levels to get any unwanted casts added by scanning...

I've explored a little architecture and street photography but not much and im pretty much open to anything to learn on.
can see when my work load eases down from tech and can organise a days outing somewhere intresting

I got a Canon 8400F flatbed scanner... it's alright, best I could get without breaking the bank!
